Joey is a lover not a fighter. Enjoys being a part of community theatre, improv comedy, teaching sports, kareoke, playing games and basically having a good time with people he loves.
Since undergraduating from UC Davis, Alex has worked as a long-term (6+ week) substitute teacher, an AmeriCorps fellow, and an actor around the Bay Area and Sacramento. Alex has performed as a member of the UC's longest-running student acappella group, the Lounge Lizards, and with theatre groups large and small. As a character with Whimsy and Wishes, Alex values patience, kindness, and openness, so all can play nicely and delight in imagination.
For Madeline, a passion for organizing inspiring and fun events, a genuine love of working with children, and a dab of creative flair meant that becoming Co-Owner of Whimsy & Wishes Event Entertainment was always inevitable. At a very young age Madeline was drawn to all things artistic and whimsical. This love of whimsy and art stayed with Madeline all the way up until high school where she was accepted into a four-year art program. There, she nurtured her love of sketching and painting, which eventually lead to exhibiting her work in Sacramento art shows.
While creativity was a huge part of Madeline’s life in high school, this was also a time in her life where her love of working with children sprouted. Madeline spent her afternoons after class mentoring children at local elementary schools as well as donating her time in the baby wing at the Sacramento Food Bank. When high school came to an end Madeline set off to Cambridge Massachusetts to attend Lesley University. At Lesley University, Madeline majored in Psychology and minored in Art Therapy for children, but absolutely shined in theater where she was extensively trained in theatrical makeup and became head of the makeup department.
When she returned to Sacramento, Madeline began Nannying for three separate families at the same time, which absolutely solidified her love of working with children. She knew that she would center her career around bringing happiness to others, especially little ones! When Madeline is not bringing whimsy and magic to the lives of others through entertainment or planning parties for Whimsy and Wishes her passions include traveling, painting, calligraphy, crafting, spending time with family and friends and long bike rides in midtown with her love of seven years who just so happens to be her business partner's younger brother!
Madeline is so excited for everything that is in store for Whimsy & Wishes in the years to come and cannot wait to celebrate with you!
Kaytlin is delighted to be joining the team at Whimsy and Wishes Event Entertainment this year! She currently attends UC Davis, where she is majoring in Design with a focus on costuming and minoring in English. She grew up as a competitive figure skater, which she retired from after a decade and a handful of national medals in order to hone in on her love of ballet and theatre. She spent high school in an elite teen's theater company and on a dance team, where she trained in ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, and lyrical. Some of her favorite memories include performing the famous "Manson Trio" dance as a lead dancer in Pippin and performing as Daisy Hilton in excerpts from Side Show. Most importantly, Kaytlin has a passion for anything Disney, as well as keeping magic alive for people of all ages! She is so excited to be a part of the company and can't wait to see where the journey takes her.

She has worked as a performer at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, as well as toured with the Rideout Healthy Kids and Power of One assemblies performing fun educational assemblies to thousands of elementary & middle school students. Annika has loved the performing arts her whole life. She has participated in many musicals and shows such as, Peter Pan, The Addams Family Musical, Casa Roble’s The Spot, 40 to life, Charlie Brown, and many more! Annika spends her free time Cheerleading for her High school, painting, and listening to Disney music of course! Her dream job is to become a Disneyland Face Character but wants to go to College and study Zoology before then. If you were to describe Annika as any Disney character it would have to be Merida from Disney’s Brave. Along with her bright red hair, Annika is ambitious, adventurous, and courageous when any challenge faces her. Annika loves this company and can’t wait to make kids dreams come true!

Celestial has been enthralled by the performing arts since she was five years old.
Music allowed her the platform to create equilibrium when life was thrown off balance. She
began performing in front of audiences at 8 years old when her stepfather discovered her knack
for singing, and brought her on tour with him around California to sing back-up. Though her
education was set for the medical field-something always drew her back to the arts. While at
Sacramento City College she took singing courses, and went on to take classes at the B Street
Theater Conservatory to study acting. She has been obsessed with Disney movies ever since
she saw Beauty and the Beast, and it has been a lifelong dream to give back to her community-
specifically children- by helping them discover the magic of song and dance. If Celestial could
sum up her life in a mission statement it would be “To reignite the fire of the dwindling flames of
the imagination”. She is very thankful to Whimsy and Wishes for creating the opportunity for
her to do just that.

Ignacio is a professional actor from Sacramento. Ignacio studies and hones his
craft at Studio 24 with acting coach Cody Dorkin. He has acted in stage productions including the premiere of the stage adaptation to Tom Stoppard’s Darkside, a play set to the music of Pink Floyd. Ignacio has been cast in lead roles for short film projects by local filmmakers, some of which are set to premiere at film festivals.

When he is not busy working on a project, Ignacio spends his leisure time looking after his little cousin, Noah, playing "make believe" or eating snacks.
Lindsay has been in love with performing since a very young age. She began singing and performing in musicals at church at age 6 and was hooked ever since. She has starred in numerous plays, musicals and concerts all over the Sacramento and San Francisco area in such roles as Sally Bowles from Cabaret and Cabaret: the Revival, Kate from Wild Party, Sheila Franklin in HAiR, Maureen Johnson in RENT, and even pushed the boundaries of gender roles as Hamlet in William Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Lindsay also sang and danced in a pop group in Las Vegas as the opening and closing act for the JAMZ Nationals from 2011-2013. She is currently taking a break from theatre in order to devote more time to Whimsy & Wishes and to plan her upcoming wedding!. She still can be seen around Sacramento singing Jazz and Blues music with one of her amazing pianists.
Lindsay is also an accomplished licensed makeup and hair stylist. She is specialized in Beauty and Glamour Styling, Period Theatrical Styling (1920-present day), and her personal favorite, Special Effects and Avant Garde! She loves pushing herself artistically to see what kind of new unique and exciting characters she will create!
Beyond the visual and performing arts, Lindsay's other passion is working with children. She started working in childcare and babysitting at a very young age. She has years of experience working with children of all ages through Elk Grove Elementary School, and various day-care and after-school programs around the Sacramento area. She loves encouraging kids to put down the video games, and instead, invites them into a magical world of imagination and creation!
After working with several different children entertainment companies, and just not being satisfied, Lindsay decided she wanted to be her own boss and have the freedom to bring joy and entertainment to people the way she wanted to. It always has been and always will be important to provide high quality, customized entertainment at a price that all budgets can afford.
That's when Lindsay and Madeline teamed up and Whimsy & Wishes Event Entertainment was born. Combining their creative and organizational talents with their love and awe for children seemed like an obvious match made in Heaven. The ladies had already been friends for years, and becoming business partners has only strengthened their friendship and solidified their vision for the future of
Whimsy & Wishes Event Entertainment.
